Xena’s the best off-the-wall fantasy show ever. Want to know why? Xena is a show that’s set in Ancient Greece. In one episode they had electric guitars and multi-coloured strobe lights without any explanation at all. This episode also happened to be a musical to popular 90’s music and Xena and the villain did a rap battle. Xena also played her theme on a guitar (lyre).

People stop asking for fantasy shows to be historically accurate. The whole fun of it is that it’s not. So stop.

Remus couldn’t hear. He couldn’t see. He couldn’t feel. He just got him back. He held Harry tight in his arms, for fear if he let go, he may let himself go. Harry screamed, finding the same kind of anger.

He barely heard Bellatrix screaming “I killed Sirius Black!” And cackling down the halls. Remus let go of Harry, grabbing his wand. Harry began to chase after her, but he held him back.

Harry saw some kind of fire lit in Remus’s eyes, ad he agreed to stay back reluctantly. Remus raced down the hall. His limbs and joints hurt, but he couldn’t seem to care. The sun is a star and Sirius was his sun. It was gone. All light had escaped from his grasp in the short time he held it. He held onto it tightly. Not tightly enough.

He found Bellatrix soon enough, and as he knew exactly what spell to use, he imagined Bellatrix saying it straight to her cousin moments before. He remembered holding Sirius the nights after they came back from Winter or Summer hols. Remus would kiss over the untreated cuts as he wrapped them a put balm on them. He remembers Sirius telling him about the family dinners, and how if he were bad, his mother and father would just tell his cousins to take him. Bellatrix was the only one who actually did anything.

All this fueled the anger he felt growing inside of him. He swished his wand while shouting the curse he never thought he’d hear himself say. “Avada Kedavra!”

He watched in slow motion as Bellatrix fell to the ground and lied limply. He turned as his friends looked at him in such shock. He didn’t care. His light was gone. The brightest star in his night sky was no longer.

ahoy, new followers: i recently started a multivitamin and subsequently have energy for the first time in two years which has made me yappier than usual and you all have presumably gotten roped in? intrigued? are on mobile and accidentally followed while trying to swipe past? as a result so here are a couple quick things:

i am old, like bits of sand and detritus that have been pressed by the weight of life and expectations into beautiful limestone. also don’t pour pepsi on me after midnight or i will dissolve

i read, write*, and rec hockey rpf. those posts will be inventively tagged things such as “hockey rpf” “hrpf” and “fic rec”

i mostly follow the avs because i don’t have time to watch more games than that. i do try really, really hard to tag “avs lb” “avs” and “to love the avs is to love romance”

i suck at consistently tagging specific players

uh there’s something i forgot

i will generally not be mean about your team, not a good use of my one wild and precious life, etc. <3 however i will be mean about my team when necessary <333
